Goodbye Matric!

I've successfully finished my Matric course at MCIIUM. Now I'm going on with my first degree course at IIUM Main Campus, Gombak. I'll be registering next Monday.

So long, PJ campus!

Now my outing time is not constrained on weekends anymore, much to the envy of my friends who are still doing Matric. Hehe. :P Not that I'm a 'kutu rayau' or 'kaki lepak' neither 'kaki wayang' but it's just my lifestyle that requires frequent travelling. Requiring me to be back by 7pm on each Sunday is really a bane to me but now those days are over! Not to mention the exacting procedures and rules. This also means more flexibility in my routine or else I'm pretty stuck up with the same routine every day.

But then I'll really miss my friends especially my roommates and members of UKC211. I 'll miss the 'nearness' of my class to my room, now the distance will increase hundredfolds if I stay in campus or thousandfolds if I stay out campus. Now need to wake up real early to class! Looks like there's a lot of habits to relearn, tsk tsk. >_<

Purposely untitled because I left blogging for quite sometime so my 'titling' skill is out. Heh. I'm still on semester break for almost a month, thank God I finished my exam before Eid. Yeah, IIUM always make sure that we have Eid break although it wouldn't care if you have to sit for exam on other public holidays. Nuzul Quran? Christmas? A&R Department had made us to do the exams on those days.

Semester I, 2005/2006 had been such a memorable time of my life. Starting from Taaruf Week 2005 the torrent of activities made me busy but each and every one is really, really meaningful. Got to learn a lot of new skills, gained confidence and made many new friends.
One of the memorable quotes is by Madam Humaiyah, the STAD Deputy Dean.

"For those of you who has met your future spouses during your involvement organizig Taaruf Week 2005 I wish you all good luck and may you all led a happy life..."

That was hilarious, said during Taaruf Committee Iftar Jami'e on 17th October. That doesn't apply to me, but I know the people who does! :P

So far the picture count in my PC is 4000+ and most of it is taken during this semester. How it's become so many? I copied those pictures from my friends and become sort of the picture keeper so many of my friends came over to get it. Organizing such a massive collection is hard if using the usual folder in Windows but with Adobe Photoshop Album I managed to gain a lot of control over my photograph collection. :)

Eid had been great, spent the 1st day at Pagoh before zooming off to Jengka the next day. I've met almost all of my immediate relatives except for Pak Long Mahadzir. On Dad's side they even managed to cram a Family Day program during Eid. Held at my grandparent's place the major events are gift exchange and sharing session. Really meaningful and beneficial.

After Eid, last weekend I found myself back in KL. This time around I accompanied my Mum to Holiday Villa Subang for a convention. Since it's nearby to Shah Alam I took the opportunity to go to Karangkraf's office and met Sri Diah. We managed to discuss quite a lot about our project of eJAD and I went back with an autographed copy of her latest novel, Janji Kasih. She even penned her wise words 'Janji itu adalah cermin diri' (Promise are reflection of what we are). Surely it's something to be remebered.

Now I'm taking a short break in Kuantan before going back to Klang Valley this Friday. This time the destination is Bangi as Madani is having a performance at Kolej Darul Hikmah. Coincidentally, my uncle is having his open day so it's a good time to go there.
