Since When You Are a Teacher?

One day, a professor travelled overseas with his mother, a 70-year-old lady. At the immigration checkpoint, the officer remarked: "Oh, you are a teacher. Hope your visit will bring back many interesting stories to your student." The mother replied with a smile.

The professor is puzzled, his mother had never worked before. She had been housewife for as long as he can remember. He read his mother's passport; it states that her job is a teacher.

Professor: Why did you put your job is a teacher?

Mother: I am a teacher.

Professor: Since when? You never worked before.

Mother: Who taught you before?

It's the mother of course...

The Long Awaited Has Come...

On Wednesday I recieved the two new books by Faisal Tehrani that I ordered online. That's my first book purchase online and I'm very much delighted to see that both 'Advencer si Peniup Ney' (Adventure of the Ney Blower) and 'Detektif Indigo' (Indigo Detectives) was autographed by Faisal Tehrani himself! What's more, I received the books on it's release date. I believe my friend also got it.

Comments about the books? I really enjoyed both and it have a lot of messages to convey. Not to mention several issues to be pondered upon. I'll post the review later on at http://tinta.ibnuariff.com, in Malay of course. :D

As for Brothers Reunited - 'Fresh!' that it's description in a word. It features 10 song, all new except for Teman Sejati which is remixed. I wouldn't go song by song but enough said that I enjoyed Kembali Bersatu, Perhitung, and Suatu Misteri. Other song is great as well but Teman Sejati is a bit of letdown as what happened to Rabbani's remixed version of Intifada. Musically, there's a lot of techno & hip-hop influence in some of the song. Yeah, complete with very bassy music that goes thump, thump, thump. Definitely enjoyable if you hava a good subwoofer but some people might not like it very much.

I'll write again later. Need to contact some old friends to organize a gathering. :)
